What product previews do
A customer asks how a sofa looks against their wall. Or they send a photo of the room. The agent can now generate that scene instead of describing it.

What product previews do
What a preview costs
Agent Vision: Product Previews landed on July 18, 2026. The agent takes a product from your catalog, or a reference image you uploaded, and places it in a space the customer named or photographed.
When to use them
It works in web chat and on Meta. Inbox keeps the generated preview and any space photo the customer uploaded, so the thread matches what they saw live.
This is not the January Agent Vision launch. That feature lets the agent understand images. Product previews generate a new image so the customer can see the product in context.
How to turn them on
Open the agent editor and enable product previews. Confirm the usage cost on that screen.
Pick a catalog mode: none, an allowlist of products, or every product that has an image. You can also upload up to 20 reference images per agent when the catalog is not the source.
Shopify and manual catalogs both work, as long as the products you want to preview have images.
What a preview costs
Each generated preview uses 3–15 messages. Most standard previews use 4–5. A single preview is never charged more than 15 messages.
Ordinary image understanding stays on Agent Vision and does not use this meter. Only generated product-in-space images do.
When to use them
Turn previews on when seeing the product in a room, on a wall, or in a space is part of the sale. Furniture, decor, fixtures, and similar catalogs benefit most.
Leave them off for support-only agents, or when customers only need the agent to read a photo they already sent.
Setup lives on the agent editor. The walkthrough is in agent configuration. The commerce side is on the Orders page.
